Your privacy in PupAhead

Instant answers
On some guide pages you can enter only an age in weeks and open an immediate free result. Its suggestions use the reported age and selected general topic; breed, weight, sex, adult size and behavioural intensity are not assumed known. The entry parameters are removed from the browser address after the first result is generated so a refresh does not overwrite a saved plan.
Quiz information
PupAhead does not require an account. Quiz answers are stored locally in your browser so a refresh does not force you to start over. PupAhead does not need a puppy photo for this experience.
Payments
If checkout is enabled, payment information is handled by the configured payment provider. PupAhead should not collect raw card details itself.
When you choose checkout, PupAhead processes the puppy profile to prepare and sign the report. The report is stored encrypted by our order storage provider, with a private email recovery link for paid purchases. Stripe receives opaque purchase references rather than your puppy’s name or profile. An essential HttpOnly cookie binds purchase recovery to this browser for up to one year. Restore purchase contacts our server and Stripe to verify payment.
Voluntary answer feedback
When you mark an answer as helpful or not helpful and optionally choose a reason, this choice is only sent as a pseudonymous event if a privacy-reviewed analytics integration has been enabled. No puppy name, photo or report is sent. If analytics is not configured, those taps are not collected. An optional email link opens your own email application and only sends feedback if you decide to send the message.
Analytics
If configured, limited pseudonymous interaction events are relayed to PostHog EU for funnel analysis; no puppy name, full report or health information is included. Session replay and advertising pixels are not enabled in this version.
Optional early-access email
When full-report payments are not open, you can indicate non-binding interest in the planned €4.99 one-time report. This is not an order or purchase. Optionally, you can request one email when the report launches by voluntarily submitting your address, ticking a separate consent checkbox and actively confirming through an emailed link. Unconfirmed requests expire after 48 hours. No payment is taken.
Confirmed registrations are retained encrypted for up to 180 days together with a consent timestamp, broad puppy concern/age group and campaign source. The early-access signup does not collect your puppy’s name, exact age, weight or report. Email addresses are encrypted in the configured Upstash Redis database; Resend sends confirmation mail. When configured, PostHog EU receives pseudonymous interest and confirmation events, but never your email. The site operator must configure EU data residency and appropriate processor agreements before accepting registrations.
This does not subscribe you to a general newsletter. Withdraw consent or request deletion any time at contact@wffuture.de. Data subject rights remain unaffected.
Your optional seven-day plan
If you choose to start a seven-day puppy plan, your selected situation and the daily reflection labels (easier, same, harder or not tried) are saved only in this browser. They are not sent to the server or shared with friends, and no free-text notes or puppy photos are stored in the plan. If you explicitly download the optional calendar reminder, a local calendar file containing six generic reminders is created on your device without your puppy’s personal details. After seven recorded days you may optionally download a graphic recap, generated only in your browser. It contains the seven reflection categories but no name, photos or notes. Story image previews are rendered locally, and are never uploaded or shared without a further deliberate action. Starting over with another puppy clears the local plan. Analytics, if configured, receives only the broad concern, the selected situation ID, day number and reflection category as pseudonymous events, never the puppy name or the written plan.
Local storage
You can clear your PupAhead draft by using “Start over” in the quiz/result experience or by clearing this site’s browser storage.
Quiz drafts and the latest and previous report snapshots stay on this device until you reset them or clear browser data. Puppy name and breed are optional. Campaign attribution is kept in session storage for this browser session. We do not collect your real name, address, phone number, location or puppy photo.
Starting over clears the puppy quiz and locally saved seven-day reflections, but preserves purchase recovery proofs. Clear this site’s storage and cookies to remove those proofs too; doing so also removes this browser’s ability to restore purchases. Paid customers may recover their report across devices through the private emailed link.
Hosting and contact
The website is hosted on Vercel. Visiting it sends technical request information, such as your IP address and browser headers, to the hosting service to deliver and protect the site. Free snapshot generation runs in your browser; your puppy profile is not sent to a prediction service.
You can remove local quiz information by resetting the quiz or clearing browser storage. Contact contact@wffuture.de for privacy questions or requests. The operator’s privacy information provides additional contact and rights information.
